IN 2004 MOSCOW PLANS TO HOLD CULTURE DAYS IN MANY COUNTRIES

MOSCOW, March 4, 2004. (RIA Novosti). In 2004 Moscow plans to hold Culture Days in many countries. Moscow Days will be held in Seoul in late April, in Brussels, Warsaw and Helsinki in autumn, Georgy Muradov, the head of the Moscow international relations department told journalists on Thursday. Zagreb will host a major exposition dedicated to Moscow and the Days of Moscow's Economy will be held in Bavaria.

The Russian capital will not only show its achievements abroad but will receive guests. In November it will host the 3rd international mayors' conference on the topic "The role of modern cities in the solution of vital problems". Over 100 cities and ten international organizations including the UN will participate in it. In October Moscow will see a conference of mayors of the Black Sea cities. In late March the Russian capital will host the international conference of compatriots. Over 40 countries are expected to participate in it.
