MOSCOW, March 4, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Tests of airships and observation balloons, designed to monitor the traffic situation in Moscow, will be over in May to June.
Manufacture of airships and balloons is over and now their certification tests are being held, planned to be over in May-June, RIA Novosti was told at the municipal economy complex. Work is also under way to find and coordinate places for their mooring masts.
The airborne monitoring squad will have two manned airships and three tethered observation balloons, having special video monitors. The system will make it possible to observe in real time the traffic situation in Moscow.
