MOSCOW, March 2, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - The Gazprom company is to make a cooperation agreement with Chechnya in March 2004, Gazprom deputy chairman of the board Alexander Ryazanov told a press conference in Moscow.
After the signing, Gazprom will open its permanent representative offices in Chechnya to supply gas to the republic, he said.
According to Mr. Ryazanov, the Chechen debt to Gazprom totaled $5 billion in the end of 2003.
