FRADKOV CITES ADMINISTRATIVE AND TAX REFORMS AS FUTURE CABINET PRIORITIES

MOSCOW, March 2, 2004. (RIA Novosti) -- Prime minister nominee Mikhail Fradkov has cited the conduct of administrative and tax reforms among the priorities of the future cabinet.

They are the priority goals of the new cabinet of ministers, he said.

In the State Duma (the lower chamber of Russian parliament) on Tuesday, he held consultations with the United Russia, LDPR and Fatherland factions. In discussion was the structure of the future government. The prime minister candidate has spoken up for the reduction of the number of ministries and departments.
