MOSCOW TO HOST ARMENIAN TRADE AND INDUSTRIAL EXPOSITION

YEREVAN, March 2 (RIA Novosti correspondent Hamlet Matevosyan) - The first All-Armenian International Trade and Industrial Exposition, "Armenia and the World 2004," will be held in Moscow on May 11-14.

The ArmeniaEXPO company said that the exposition is aimed at the promotion of Armenian exports and attracting new investors, which "will bring new working places and thus will help to fight unemployment." According to the Russian ambassador to Armenia, Anatoly Dryukov, this exposition may become a remarkable event in the development of the Russia-Armenian economic interactions and further develop business contacts.

An international science conference will be held within the framework of the exposition. Conference members will discuss such issues as transportation of goods, profitable activities, work of joint enterprises and personnel training.

ArmeniaEXPO, with the support of the Armenian Agency of Development and the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized the exposition.
