This is quite pleasant because the President himself had set this task, Reiman noted.
Russian users are becoming more and more interested in national Internet resources, Reiman said. The Internet continues to develop in sprawling Russian cities and all across the nation, Reiman added.
In Reiman's words, electronic-trade volumes continue to increase, totaling about $150-200 million in late 2003 and soaring by about 30 percent on the 2002 period.
Russian information technologies are developing faster than analogue technologies and more quickly than those elsewhere, Reiman went on to say.
In spite of positive developments, immature market patterns still persist, Reiman said. Internet services make up for just 25 percent of the entire market; meanwhile the software-sales sector tends to grow 200 percent faster than the hardware-sale sector does, Reiman noted.
In the meantime all economic sectors keep placing additional IT orders. Accounting-software orders prevail; nonetheless, 25 percent more corporate-management software packages will be ordered each year, Reiman said in conclusion.
