"Our cooperation is of particular importance in connection with the signing of the interstate agreement on bilateral cooperation in information sphere during Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili's visit to Moscow," RIA Novosti's deputy chairman of the board Yuri Ryazhsky told a press conference in Tbilisi.
The agreement between the two agencies will be signed as part of the project aimed to keep Russia and other CIS members well informed on the events in Georgia and vise versa, Novosti-Georgia reported.
The project is to improve mutual understanding and relations between Russia and Georgia.
