MOSCOW, February 27, 2004. (RIA Novosti correspondent Yulia Panyushkina). The 16th Russian Antique Salon will open tomorrow in the Central House of Artists, Moscow. Over 200 leading antique galleries and shops from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Perm will participate in the salon.

Traditionally, the salon program includes several non-commercial projects. Exhibitions "Sports in the painting of the 1930s-1970s" and "Illuminators of the end of the 18th - beginning of the 20th centuries", photo exposition "St. Petersburg's feasts" and a show of old jewelry masterpieces will be held as part of the salon.
