Such a grandiose event is held in this Russian city for the first time, the Belarussian Embassy to Russia said on Friday. The exposition consists of several sections located in indoor and outdoor grounds covering a total area of over 1,000 square meters.
One of the sections features the collective exposition of the science and technologies committee of the Council of Ministers. It presents scientific innovations and new technologies of 15 Belarussian research centers.
Enterprises of the Belarussian Industry Ministry present the country's industrial potential. Road, building and agricultural equipment is exhibited at outdoor grounds.
Novosibirsk will host the Days of Belarussian Science, a scientific-practical conference "Belarussian trade and economic and scientific-technological potential and prospects for Russian-Belarussian scientific cooperation" and numerous business meetings as part of the national fair.
The organizers hope that the fair will contribute to further development of trade and economic cooperation and business and scientific relations between the two countries.
