BRUSSELS, February 26 (RIA Novosti corr. Alexander Shishlo) - The Russian leadership won't hold negotiations with leader of Chechen separatists' leader Aslan Maskhadov, said Russian presidential aide Sergei Yastrzhembsky.
Answering foreign journalists' questions in Brussels, he expressed confidence that in case Vladimir Putin is reelected Russian President, the policy in regard to situation settlement in Chechnya will remain unchanged.
In Yastrzhembsky's words, there are no military operations now in Chechnya; there are operations to eliminate separate gangs.
