ROSTOV-ON-DON, February 25 (RIA Novosti correspondent Sofia Brykanova) - A body of a girl from the group of the Moscow snowboarders who disappeared two weeks ago was found in the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria, a Russian republic in the North Caucasus.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry told RIA Novosti that the body was found today on the northern slope of Cheget Mountain, which is a popular mountain for alpine skiing and other winter sports.

Earlier, rescuers found the bodies of five snowboarders who were presumably swept by an avalanche.

The search for the seven snowboarders began on February 12 when their parents lost contact with them.

Presently, the search for the last member of the group is continuing. According to the data of the Emergencies Ministry, the operation consists of 153 rescue workers and 21 pieces of equipment.
