SEARCH FOR SUNKEN SHIP CREW TO CONTINUE IN CASPIAN SEA

MAKHACHKALA, February 20 (RIA Novosti corr. Dekabr Beibutov) - The search for the crew of the Akusha fueler that sank several days ago will continue in the Caspian Sea, Dagestan's emergencies ministry told RIA Novosti.

An aircraft will be used to look for people.

Yesterday at about midday, two members of the sunken ship's crew were rescued on board a Radeks-2 tanker from a life raft.

In their words, the crew of the Akusha (registered in Makhachkala) consist of 12 sailors. The rescued sailors had seen three of the crew on another raft. Nothing is known about other members of the crew.
