WARSAW, February 19, 2004. (RIA Novosti correspondent Leonid Sviridov) - Russia has resumed gas exports to Poland via Belarus, says Malgorzata Przybylska, press secretary of Poland's central petroleum and gas company.

"Supplies resumed today, 13.00, Greenwich meantime, as Gazprom informed us," she announced to a news conference in Warsaw.

Ms Przybylska confirmed previous information about gas pressure rising along the Polish stretch of the Yamal mainline. Gas piping to Western Europe via Poland will regain steadiness within a few hours, she reassured.
