MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 19, 2004, /RIA-NOVOSTI CORRESPONDENT ALEXEI BEREZIN/ -- The Siberian military district's servicemen will conduct war games in line with a strategic headquarters exercise on the territory of the Moscow military district. This was disclosed to reporters at a press conference here today by Col.-Gen. Yury Baluyevsky, first deputy chief of the General Staff of Russia's Armed Forces.
In his words, the war games will involve land forces of the Siberian military district, as well as aircraft.
Servicemen from the Volga-Urals military district, who have completed a similar exercise, are now leaving for their respective bases, the general noted in conclusion.
