SEVEROMORSK, February 17, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - The nuclear-powered guided-missile undersea cruiser Novomoskovsk failed to launch two ballistic missiles in the course of the Northern Fleet exercises which are observed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As RIA Novosti was told by a source in the Northern Fleet command, referring to the preliminary data, "the satellite blocked the signal for missiles launch."
