The meeting will consider the appeal of the co-ordinating council to the party's supporters to vote for Vladimir Putin at the upcoming presidential elections, a RIA Novosti correspondent was told at the party's press service.
"United Russia appeared and operates as a party of the president's supporters. And the course towards the country's revival and strengthening is the basis of our joint efforts," a RIA Novosti correspondent was told.
The Central Co-ordinating Council of Supporters for United Russia is a permanent public organisation, whose members are leaders of public associations, businessmen, scientists and men of culture and arts. Similar councils, their membership exceeding 2 million people, operate in all regions of Russia.
