GROZNY, February 16 (RIA Novosti) - A cache with a great number of ammunition has been found in Chechnya, reported the regional operational headquarters for the control of the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus on Monday.
The cache contained 132 mines of the 120 caliber.
"With all the necessary precautions the mines were taken to a safe place and exploded," the headquarters spokesman reported. He said that the information about the cache, which was some 500 meters away from the Grozny-Sernovodsk highway, in the area of the village of Alkhan-Kala, was received from local inhabitants.
