MOSCOW, February 16 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov does not rule out that 9-13 people might be discovered under the debris in Transvaal AquaPark in Moscow. He said this at the site of the accident on Monday morning. According to Luzhkov, there is hardly any hope of finding survivors.

The main task for today is to clear the water park area of the rubble. Rescuers worked all night, said the mayor. The builders are to complete the work today.

Luzhkov also said that part of the roof was hanging on the columns, which could cause another collapse.

When asked about the reasons for the tragedy, the mayor said it was premature to make any conclusions. According to Luzhkov, a special commission has been set up by the Moscow government and the State Construction Committee to make final conclusions on the reasons of the accident.

Sixty-eight people - 18 men, 25 women and 25 children - are still in hospital, said a spokeswoman for the Moscow health department. She specified that five patients were in a "very grave condition", 13 in "grave", 32 in "medium grave", and 18 in a satisfactory condition.

According to the latest reports, 24 bodies have been pulled from the rubble, and one victim died in hospital. 23 victims have been identified.
