    The Russian Information Agency Novosti begins Hotline coverage for Saturday, February 14th, 2004.


    * Thomas Klestil, Federal President of Austria is to come to Moscow on a brief visit.

    * The "Civil Debates" club will hold a conference, "Old Russia and Vladimir Putin's new Russia: programmes, targets, results". To attend are participants in the meeting with Vladimir Putin at Moscow State University on February 12, leading politicians, world affairs experts, business people, etc.

    * Wreaths are to be laid to the memorial of Afghanistan War victims in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the withdrawal of the Soviet troops from Afghanistan. Federation Council Speaker Sergey Mironov is to take part.

    * A presentation of the express commuter route Moscow-Mytishchi and the Sputnik locomotive of the new generation will take place at the Yaroslavsky terminal station. The ceremony will be attended by Gennay Fadeev, president of the Russian Railways company.

    * A plenary meeting and congress of the Socialist United Party "Spiritual legacy" is scheduled to be on.
