"More than 25,000 crimes, including 7,300 bribery cases against the state authority and the state services were disclosed in the anti-corruption campaign, that is 3.7 percent more than in 2002," said Rashid Nurgaliyev.
According to him, last year "an appreciable break through was also made in the fight against organised crime connected with the organisation of criminal communities; the interior bodies disclosed over 11,000 crimes committed by organised groups." Apart from that, registration work considerably improved and the decisions on the citizens' applications were taken more rapidly, said the acting minister.
