"The fight against terrorism is the priority task of the law-enforcement bodies and demands constant development and implementation of the new methods of fight against this evil and concentration of efforts on the prevention of terrorist acts," Mr. Nurgaliyev disclosed on Friday at an enlarged session of the Russian Interior Ministry.
According to him, the fight against money laundering and corruption is also of high importance for the Interior Ministry. It's important not only to find a criminal, but also to detect the schemes of crime legalization and to cut the channels of criminal money outflow abroad, Mr. Nurgaliyev stressed.
The cooperation with the committee of the Russian financial monitoring, which is aimed to block the financial sources for terrorist organizations, is highly important for the Interior Ministry in order to reach the set goals, he noted.
Speaking about the fight against corruption, Nurgaliyev noted that a lot depends on the stabilization of the social-economic and public-political situation in Russia.
