MOSCOW, February 12 (RIA Novosti) - Only three out of the seven presidential candidates enjoy wide popularity in Russia: incumbent President Vladimir Putin, the former leader of the Union of Right Forces, Irina Khakamada, and the leader of the Homeland left centrist bloc, Sergei Glazyev. According to the data of a poll conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Center (VTsIOM), 95% of those polled know Vladimir Putin, 75% Irina Khakamada, and 55% Sergei Glazyev. Other candidates' ratings do not exceed 11 percent, VTsIOM director Valery Fyodorov said in Moscow Thursday.

In his words, the poll confirms that the incumbent president does not have any real rivals for elections.

The poll also showed that none of Russian politicians has a sufficiently high rating to become Putin's successor. In the opinion of the VTsIOM director, "this is the main task Putin will have to deal with." About 71% of the voters are ready to vote for Putin; Sergei Glazyev holds second place: he is not likely to gain more than 10%, Fyodorov said.

In his words, the candidate rated third, Irina Khakamada, has a very high "anti-rating." Almost 35% of those polled do not intend to vote for her "under any circumstances."
