"I am often asked about my election campaign," presidential nominee Vladimir Putin told his election agents.
"I am convinced that the incumbent President needs no self-display and rallies and should not tell beautiful stories, which are far from our reality," Putin stressed.
"However, I should account to my voters and the whole country for my work over the recent years," he said.
In addition, Putin believes he should speak about his plans for the next four years, if Russians give him their confidence on March 14.
In the beginning of his speech Vladimir Putin thanked everyone who gathered at Moscow State University and who is ready for cooperation. "Certainly, I would like to thank everybody who is ready to support me at the forthcoming presidential elections," he said.
