MOSCOW, February 12 (RIA Novosti corr. Nikolai Makarov) - On Thursday, the establishment of election commissions in Russia and abroad will start; on March 14 they will ensure the holding of presidential elections.
Central Election Commission head Alexander Veshnyakov said 95,000 election commissions will be formed.
Veshnyakov said "district election commissions will be established with account for political parties' opinion." Training courses will start for members of these commissions.
According to the law, district election commissions are formed by local election commissions, heads of Russian diplomatic institutions abroad as well by commanders of military units located outside Russia. Commissions are to be formed in three days' time.
