MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 11 (RIA Novosti) - Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Mikhail Saakashvili of Georgia met at the negotiation table today. They will repeatedly meet again at CIS summits, says Sergei Prikhodko, deputy chief of Kremlin staff.

There are no limits to their future contacts, he replied to a reporter's question whether the summiteers had agreed on further conferences.

"Russia's President has regular meetings with his partners in the Commonwealth of Independent States. They exchange messages, and have telephone talks. A tentative schedule did not come up [at today's summit], but we can count on the two Presidents' contacts at future CIS summits.

"More contacts will be appointed if necessary. If Russia and Georgia become closer partners than now, particular visits will be planned," said the Kremlin functionary.
