DUSHANBE, February 11 (RIA Novosti) - Talks between working groups of the Russian and Tajik Defense Ministries have started in Dushanbe, spokesman for the Tajik Defense Ministry Lieutenant Colonel Zarobiddin Sirodzhev told RIA Novosti.
The talks focus on bilateral military cooperation, including the formation of a Russian military base in Tajikistan. Tajik First Deputy Defense Minister, Chief of the General Staff, Major General Ramil Nadyrov and representative of the Russian Defense Ministry Albert Druzhinin are heading the Tajik and Russian delegations.
