"The whole case is not clear to me. New facts have surfaced. I cannot, therefore, decide now whether I should stay or go," Ms Ponomaryova told RIA Novosti.
Ms Ponomaryova said earlier that she might resign.
On Tuesday night she met Mr Rybkin at the airport when he returned from Kiev.
The presidential candidate said he had had a short holiday in Kiev with his friends.
Ms Ponomaryova said Mr Rybkin might appear before the press later in the day. However, she did not say when and where his press conference would take place.
