MOSCOW, February 10 (RIA Novosti). On Tuesday the head of the Moscow Metro Dmitry Gayev said in his interview to RIA Novosti that right steps taken by the Moscow Metro employees prevent even harder consequences of the February 6 terrorist act.

In his opinion, when such emergencies appear special works held in the spot alone is not enough; the whole Metro line must be blocked. All the stations where passengers change lines were blocked in time and the platforms cleared of the people.

"It requires a complex work. It is impossible to left other stations overcrowded and people injured. I have no claims to the staff. I think they had done their utmost to prevent even worse trouble," the head of the Moscow Metro stressed.
