MOSCOW, February 10. /RIA Novosti correspondent/. Not a single nuclear weapon has been sold or stolen, Yuri Baluyevsky, First Deputy Chief of the General Staff, said at a press conference in Moscow.
"All nuclear arms are in their right places. None of them has been sold to El Qaeda or stolen," he stressed.
The Western media reported earlier that after the break-up of the USSR El Qaeda allegedly purchased a few portable nuclear arms.
