TERRORIST ACT IN MOSCOW SUBWAY WAS MASTERMINDED OUTSIDE CHECHNYA

GROZNY, February 10 (RIA Novosti) - Chechen Prosecutor Vladimir Kravchenko believes that the Friday terrorist act in the Moscow subway was masterminded outside Chechnya.

"Most terrorist acts recently performed in Russia were masterminded and financed by international terrorists who committed these crimes outside Chechnya because here, few can be terrified by such methods," Viktor Kravchenko told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

According to him, foreign masterminds even in Chechnya itself act mainly via mercenaries, so "we shouldn't blame Chechens now".

On February 6 an explosion in the Moscow subway killed 39 and wounded over 100 people.
