MOSCOW, February 9. (RIA Novosti correspondent) - During a working meeting, Stanislav Ilyasov, the chairman of the government commission on the restoration of the social sphere and economy of Chechnya, and Stefan Vassilev, the UNDP resident representative in the Russian Federation, will discuss humanitarian aid to the residents of Chechnya and Ingushetia (two neighboring North Caucasian autonomous entities within the Russian Federation).
The working meeting of Mr. Ilyasov with Mr. Vassilev, as well as a UN delegation and a group of representatives of international humanitarian organizations working in the North Caucasus will be held on Monday in the Russian Government Building.
Mr. Vassilev and Mr. Ilyasov will touch on issues related to ensuring the security of representatives of humanitarian organizations in Chechnya and creating a single coordinating body in the republic to organize the activity of humanitarian organizations.
