Russian Security Council Secretary Vladimir Rushailo will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on February 9-13, reported the Security Council press service.

During his visit, Rushailo will meet and hold negotiations with president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Security Council Secretary Bulat Utemuratov, interior minister Zautbek Turisbekov, defence minister Mukhtar Altynbekov and chairman of National Security Committee Nartai Dutbayev, the press service reported.

According to data provided by the Russian Security Council representatives, during the meetings the sides will discuss cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in combating international terrorism and the development of bilateral relations, and coordinate joint actions in strengthening international and regional security and counteracting the threat of terrorism, illegal migration and organised crime.

The last year was declared the Year of Kazakhstan in Russia, and the current year - the Year of Russia in Kazakhstan. This fact shows the high level of relations between our countries, Rushailo said shortly before the visit.
