MUNICH, February 8, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - To quit the CFE, treaty limiting conventional forces in Europe, is the last thing Russia intends to do, reassured Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov, while addressing a news conference in Munich.
Procrastinated ratification of an updated treaty version badly alarms him. Procrastinations are evidently deliberate, and tied in with matters that have no bearing at all on the CFE treaty, he emphasised.
