MUNICH, February 8, 2004. (RIA NOVOSTI) - Ahmad Zakayev, Chechen separatist spokesman, is visiting Germany. His sojourn means to draw a wedge between Russia and Germany, says Sergei Ivanov, Russia's Defence Minister.
"We see perfectly well just who has arranged this trip for a man on the international 'wanted' list. It is an attempt to damage Russian-German contacts and, even more so, make things tough for top national leaders, who are working for the progress of such contacts," the minister said to a news conference in Munich.
