    KHANKALA, February 6, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - Another Turkish mercenary has been killed in the Vedeno district in south-eastern Chechnya, the headquarters for the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus told RIA Novosti on Friday.

    He was a member of an illegal group led by Chechen warlord Aslan Asambayev.

    The mercenary was carrying the passport of a Turkish resident, Nadik Wahid Abas Agly, a sub-machine gun and ammunition.

    On Thursday, Russian law-enforcers reported that a Turkish national was killed near the village of Ersenoi on February 2. Arms, ammunition and video tapes showing militant groups' activities were found on him. The other Turkish mercenary was killed near the same village.
