TBILISI, February 5, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili believes he will hopefully set a trend towards the development of positive relations between Georgia and Russia during his visit to Moscow, which is due to take place in February.

"The problems that have accumulated over the years cannot be resolved in a day. What we can do at this stage is to set a trend towards the development of positive relations between the two countries," the president said at a news briefing in Tbilisi on Thursday.
