    AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ARRIVES IN MOSCOW

    MOSCOW, February 5th, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent) - Azerbaijanian President Ilkham Aliyev arrived in Moscow for a three-day official visit on Thursday.

    His aircraft landed at Vnukovo-2 airport.

    The guest of honour was met by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Khristenko and Azerbaijanian First Deputy Prime Minister Abbas Abbasov.

    The Azerbaijanian president will meet the Russian head of state and sign some bilateral documents.

    The official talks are scheduled for Friday, but the first informal meeting between Vladimir Putin and Ilkham Aliyev will be held already today.

    This is Ilkham Aliyev's first visit to Moscow after he was elected president on October 15th, 2003.
