VLADIKAVKAZ, February 5th, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent Vladimir Gutnov) - The two people killed today in an explosion in Vladikavkaz have been identified, Ismel Shaov, head of the North Ossetian interior ministry's press centre, told RIA Novosti.
"Both victims, Alan Khabitsev, 33, and Bella Dzhibilova, 30, are Vladikavkaz residents," he said.
According to Shaov, "the tragedy was caused by a personal argument when Khabitsev was in warm blood and took out a grenade from his pocket and the woman tried to seize it from him." Shaov also said that they "found a grenade safety pin on his index finger." The investigation has no other versions.
