GROZNY, February 5 (RIA Novosti) - Chechen President Ahmad Kadyrov criticized the rate of civil engineering and rehabilitation work in Chechnya, a spokesman for the Chechen presidential press service told RIA Novosti.
Mr. Kadyrov met Thursday in Grozny with Mikhail Falileyev, the head of the federal directorate of civil engineering and rehabilitation work.
"The president made several remarks with regard to the rate of the civil engineering and rehabilitation work," said Mr. Falileyev.
He added that the remarks did not concern principal moments in the work going on in the republic.
"All of the remarks will be taken into consideration," Mr. Falileyev said.
Mr. Kadyrov and Mr. Falileyev discussed the progress of civil engineering and rehabilitation work as well as plans for 2004. Priority construction facilities have been named, the Chechen presidential press service reported.
