(RIA Novosti) - The issues concerning the Caspian Sea status will be discussed at a level of Foreign Ministers of Caspian countries in April of this year in Moscow, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister, Russian President's representative on the Caspian issues, Viktor Kalyuzhny said.

According to him, the meeting of Caspian countries' Foreign Ministers "was tentatively scheduled for April 4-5." "The idea to hold the meeting was approved by representatives of all 5 Caspian countries," Kalyuzhny noted.

However, at the present moment a number of technical issues are being coordinated, including the "concretization of definite terms," he added.

Speaking about the necessity to hold such meeting, Kalyuzhny noted that the working groups of the Caspian states, while dealing with the issue concerning the development of the Convention on the Caspian Sea and definition of its status, "reached the level, which demands presence of Caspian countries Foreign Ministers."
