"Some of my colleagues were drawn away from Rodina, but this is not grounds to speak about a split in the bloc," stated Mr. Glazyev on Monday.
Commenting on his relations with Dmitri Rogozin, a Rodina cochairman, Mr. Glazyev emphasized, "Rogozin's only conflict is with his obligations."
Mr. Glazyev also noted that someone is behind the statements about a split in Rodina. "It seems to me that someone is behind all these absurd statements," he said.
Mr. Glazyev also noted that some of its colleagues were pulled into the game against the Rodina bloc and attempted to discredit its name and give society a negative impression of it before Rodina nominated a presidential candidate.
"I have one task: proving that the Rodina bloc is capable of taking its political responsibility earnestly, including participation in the presidential elections," Mr. Glazyev said.
