CRIMINAL CASE ON ACCOMPLICES OF TERRORISTS SEIZING THEATRICAL CENTRE ON DUBROVKA TAKEN TO COURT

MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 2. /RIA NOVOSTI / -- The criminal case of five suspects involved in the seizure of hostages in the Theatrical Centre on the Dubrovka street has been taken to court, RIA Novosti was told by the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office.

It has wound up investigation and taken to court the criminal case on the act of terrorism outside the McDonalds cafe on October 19, 2002, complicity in the taking of hostages at the Theatrical Centre on the Dubrovka street in Moscow. The criminal case on the five suspects has been isolated from the main case, says the press service in a communique.

Under the criminal case, Aslanbek Khaskhanov, Aslan Murdalov, brothers Alikhan and Akhyad Mejiev, Khampash Sobraliev are taken to responsibility. They are charged with the explosion outside the McDonalds centre, complicity in terrorism and hostage-taking, illegal purchase, keeping and transportation of weapons and explosive devices as part of the criminal gang, says the criminal case.
