BRUSSELS, February 2 /RIA Novosti correspondent Alexander Shishlo/ - The Russian-German agreement on mutual trips by citizens from both countries signed in December last year can serve as a model for Russia to sign similar agreements with the other countries of the European Union. This is what general secretary of the Association of the European Chambers of Commerce Arnaldo Abruzzini said on Monday.

The agreement between Russia and Germany stipulates, in particular, an easy visa regime for business people from both countries.

In the estimate of Abruzzini, this is the "the first step towards simplified trade between the European Union and Russia."
