CRUDE & PRODUCTS DUTIES TO RISE FROM FEBRUARY 1

MOSCOW, FEBRUARY, 1. (RIA Novosti correspondent). Hussian Prime-Minister Mikhail Kasyanov signed an order to the effect that starting February 1 export customs duties on crude oil and oil products are to be raised by 2.7 percent to reach 33.9 dollars per one ton.

The rates of duties for oil products are fixed at 30.5 dollars per one ton.

In the period form December 1 through January 31 the rate on crude was 31.2 dollars per ton, and 28.1 dollars on oil products.

New rates will be in effect until March 31, 2004.
