A representative of the Russian Mission Control reported that the crew would start unloading the spacecraft on Monday as Sunday was their official day-off like on the Earth.
The cargo spacecraft delivered additional equipment for onboard systems of the Russian Zarya module, instruments to measure gas contents, clean underclothes, hygienic accessories, and parcels for crew members. In addition to that the spacecraft delivered to the station fuel for navigation engines, water, containers with foodstuffs, scientific equipment, two mannequins to measure radiation levels, new Orlan spacesuits.
After the February 1, 2003 catastrophe of the American Columbia shuttle only Russia places crews and cargo into orbit. Yuri Koptev, head of Rosaviakosmos reported earlier that in 2004 two manned Soyuz spacecraft and 4 Progress cargo spacecraft would be launched to reach the International Space Station.
