The high-ranking officials expressed their satisfaction with the high level of the Russo-Armenian relations in various spheres, the Armenian President's press service reported.
In particular, they discussed issues concerning the expansion of cooperation in the spheres of aviation, energy and transportation.
The both sides also discussed the fulfillment of the Russo-Armenian agreement "Property for Debt".
Alyoshin informed Kocharyan that he had visited and inspected the enterprises listed in the agreement. According to him, these enterprises have a high potential for development and all the necessary conditions for their investing activity had been created.
Alyoshin and Kocharyan discussed also issues concerning the expansion of the regional economic cooperation.
The intergovernmental agreement concerning the transmission of property as Armenia's debt payment, which was estimated at $93 mln was signed on July 17th, 2002 in Yerevan.
The agreement envisages in particular the turning to Russia 100% of bonds of the "Mars" plant (estimated at $56.29 mln), two scientific research institutes - of mathematical machines ($2.75 mln) and of automated systems of control ($3.37 mln), and the property complex of the Razdansk thermoelectric power station.
