MOSCOW, JANUARY 30 (RIA Novosti correspondent Alexander Kovalev) - The International Space Center crew commemorated seven NASA astronauts who died in the "Columbia" shuttle tragedy of February 1, 2003. Michael Foale of the USA and Russia's Alexander Kaleri made a mourning television address the NASA will cast on its channel, February 1, says Sergei Puzanov, NASA public relations coordinator for Russia.

The NASA has established Memory Day to commemorate the "Columbia" crew and all spacemen who gave their life on mission, every January's last Thursday.

The "Columbia" disaster badly hit the entire ISS program. Russia alone now orbits crews and cargoes. Two Soyuz manned ships and four Progress cargo ships will reach the station this year.
