MOSCOW, January 30 (RIA Novosti) - On Monday, February 2, the Russian Finance Ministry will effect another payment of its debt to the IMF (International Monetary Fund).
According to the Finance Ministry, the IMF will receive $28,259,000.
According to the schedule, this payment was due on February 1st. But since this day is a day off, the payment will be made on Monday, the ministry said.
This will be the first payment in February on this debt. The next few payments will be made on February 11th and 25th.
This year Russia will pay about $1.7 billion to the IMF.
Russia's debt to the IMF totals about $5 billion.
