    PUTIN PARTICIPATES IN ENLARGED COLLEGIATE SESSION OF THE PROSECUTOR GENERAL'S OFFICE

    MOSCOW, JANUARY 30, 2004. (RIA NOVOSTI). Russian President Vladimir Putin participates in the enlarged collegiate session of the Prosecutor General's Office.

    Participants in the session are expected to discuss the work of the Office's bodies in 2003 and the tasks of its improvement in conditions of the judicial reform.

    The following officials have been invited to the collegiate session: State Duma (the lower house of parliament) speaker Boris Gryzlov, presidential chief of staff Dmitry Medvedev, first deputy presidential chief of staff Dmitry Kozak, deputy presidential chief of staff Viktor Ivanov, presidential plenipotentiary representative in the Central Federal District Sergei Poltavchenko, chairman of the State Duma security committee Vladimir Vasilyev, chairmen of the Constitutional, Supreme and Arbitration Courts, FSB director Nikolai Patrushev, head of the Federal Guard Service Yevgeny Murov, acting interior minister Rashid Nurgaliyev, head of the State Committee on Drug Trafficking Viktor Cherkesov, Justice Minister Yuri Chaika, Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov, Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu and chairman of the Financial Monitoring Committee Viktor Zubkov.
