MOSCOW, January 29 (RIA Novosti correspondent Oleg Osipov) - Russian Property Minister Farit Gazizullin reported to the President on preparations of the amendments to the land law.

These amendments will concern the delimitation of state property on land. According to him, 13.2 percent of lands are owned by the state and about 13 percent - by regions. The amendments to the land law will be coordinated with governors.

The imperfection of the land legislation hampers the process of land sale and transfer into private ownership, the minister stressed.

A cabinet meeting will consider the land reform in March 2004 by Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov's instruction, Gazizullin added.
